To celebrate the opening of the new Geraldton Regional Library, the February Oral History Morning featured a live interview with Bob Desmond, a 92 year old retired farmer, and a special morning tea. Bob Desmond grew up in the Depression and was forced to leave school to become a shearer. After leaving school he was awarded a War Service Land Settlement Scheme farm at Indarra west of Mullewa. Bob Desmond has many good stories to tell and is a born raconteur. A most entertaining morning is guaranteed.
The live interview was followed by a tour of the Library and a celebratory morning tea.
