Our Collection
The Geraldton Regional Library and the Mullewa Public Library have a combined collection of more than 54,000 items, not including the 10,000 resources which make up the Local Studies Collection.
The adult collection includes
- Fiction and non-fiction titles including Large Print
- Audiobooks and DVDs
- Books in languages other than English
- Magazines and Newspapers
- Paperback /Magazine exchange and jigsaws
- Electronic resources including downloadable eAudiobooks and eBooks
- Local Studies Collection
The Geraldton Regional Library and the Mullewa Public Library also have access to other resources housed in Libraries across Australia via the Inter-Library Loan service
YA Collection
This is a group of resources at the Geraldton Regional Library and Mullewa Public Library organised for older children, teenagers and young adults. The collection includes fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, magazines and large print titles which can be borrowed.
Junior Collection
The Greater Geraldton Libraries hold a range of material suitable for children. The collection includes fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, audiobooks, DVDs and magazines. There is a selection of board books, pre-school titles (picture books), big books and beginner readers.
A small collection of dyslexic friendly and large print titles are also available for loan.
Better Beginnings Yellow and Green Discovery Backpacks on a variety of themes are available for families to support the development of early literacy skills.
Speed Reads
Need a new read but don't want the long waiting periods? The Geraldton Library have got you covered! Our new 7 Day Loans are now available on selected titles. Two copies of each of the 4 titles will be available for loan with a limit of 2 titles per borrower. No reservations or extensions permitted and just 7 days to finish them! Will you take on the challenge?
