Local Heritage Survey

The Local History Survey (LHS), formerly known as the Municipal Inventory is a list of locations within the City of Greater Geraldton which have cultural heritage significance.  The list includes a broad range of places, including residential and commercial properties, churches, monuments and parks.

For further information, visit Town Planning Services between 8.30am and 5.00pm at the Civic Centre on Cathedral Avenue, Geraldton.  Alternatively, phone (08) 9956 6900 or email council@cgg.wa.gov.au.

In 2012, the State Heritage Office launched inHerit – a one-stop portal for information about heritage places and listings in Western Australia.  inHerit contains comprehensive information about cultural heritage places listed in the State Register of Heritage Places, local government inventories and other lists, the Australian Government’s heritage list, and other non-government lists and surveys.
