The Geraldton Sunshine Festival was first held on 21 August 1959 and has become Western Australia’s longest running regional festival. The Festival celebrates local community spirit and is largely run by volunteers. More information about the Sunshine Festival is available from their website.
The Library has digitized a selection of historical programmes from the Festival (1959-2000). Later copies are held in the Local Studies Collection at the Geraldton Regional Library.
