RAAF Centenary Reflection by Lorin Cox
The year 2021 marks the centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force and as such it is very timely to publish this image of the 48 Course Wings Graduation of 1944, published in the City if Greater Geraldton War Years Drive Trail booklet. The No. 4 Service Flying Training School which was located very near the current Geraldton Airport, played a key role roll in producing qualified pilots during World War II.

Geraldton will celebrate the centenary in a number of ways in the coming months, however, for a taste of rich local RAAF history right now visit the display in the local history section of Geraldton Regional Library. The display includes items generously loaned from the Geraldton RSL.
