A Stirling Story Time by Lorin Cox

Story time has been a long standing service provided by your local library with the aim to foster children’s love of reading from an early age. Traditionally story time is held in the Library but this image from the late 1980’s demonstrates how the activity can be diversified. Reading to children can take place any time anywhere. Stirling Plaza hosted this story time session with passionate City Librarian; Pat Gallaher. A convenient location only a short stroll from the Library which was situation on Cathedral Avenue. The book Two Monsters by David McKee was first published in 1987 and was a fan favourite. The shop in the background is believed to be Wolf’s Watch Forum.
