Peter Salmon

Peter Salmon is a 92-year-old Thiinma Elder and the last fluent speaker of his language. Having spent his life working across pastoral stations in Western Australia, Peter carries a profound knowledge of Country across the state. Together with musician Rosie Sitorus, Peter writes and performs songs in Thiinma to share his language with the world.

Rosie Sitorus

Rosie Sitorus is a singer-songwriter, linguist and creative producer whose practice transforms creativity into meaningful cultural impact. Working with communities across Western Australia, her portfolio includes the award-winning songwriting project Warralgurniya and the production Piyalbajarri, created with Thiinma Elder Peter Salmon, with whom she appeared on ABC TV’s The Piano in 2026.

Antonia Naarstig

Antonia Naarstig grew up in Geraldton and later devoted her time to pursuing the creative arts, studying at Claremont Art School, WAAPA, UWA, Sussex, and Oxford Universities. Her love of oil paint has been a lifelong passion, resulting in numerous portraits, two of which have been submitted to the Archibald Prize; Caitlin Cassidy (2020) and Holden Sheppard (2026).

Hayley Savage

Hayley Savage is an artist, muralist, teacher, and the person behind Sunflower Studio - a gallery, workshop space, and creative hub where people of all ages, abilities, skill levels and neurotypes can feel comfortable walking through the door and creating something cool.

Kristen Hogue

Kristen Hogue has been teaching Art to Primary aged children for around 30 years. She believes that the perfect formula is KIDS + FUN + CREATIVITY = LEARNING.

Anne Williams

Anne Williams is a local music teacher by day and a musician, comedian and Emcee by night. She has lived in Geraldton for the last 22 years and is regularly seen participating in various ways at local fundraisers and events.
