During research of the RAAF activities of No 4 Service Flying School (No4 SFTS), the author came across a number of marine activities of interest. With further enquiry it was decided to try and unravel some of the reasons for these operations at the Port which mainly involved coastal shipping by the State Ships Koolinda, Koolama, Kybra.
