Australian Fiction
Francis McGuire is a political adviser with one job in the final week before the federal election: oversee the launch of the Opposition health policy. Everything is ready, until the ruthless campaign strategist, David Perkins, makes his move. At his side is Rob Parisi, the Opposition Leader who will do anything to become Prime Minister. Perkins never loses, and Parisi tolerates his tactics for that reason. When their plan to sabotage their own policy backfires, Perkins pins the blame on Francis.
In efforts to escape the public eye, Francis flees to a quiet town along the NSW coast where she comes across an organised crime syndicate. And a murder that will unravel democracy as we know it. Francis must decide if she should expose the truth.
