Geraldton Regional Library is excited to announce a new short story writing competition for

adults is being introduced in 2020 as a part of the Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival.

The Big Sky Short Story Prize is sure to appeal to first-time and experienced authors

from across the Midwest, and will provide the winner with $500 in cash plus publication

online through the Library.  

The writing competition is now closed, as of July 17.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their previously unpublished works. 

The winner will be announced Thursday 1 October at the Festival Opening.
