About the Heritage of Greater Geraldton

The Geraldton Regional Library has an extensive Heritage Services Collection which people may access to find out about Geraldton’s past. 

There are also many local groups and organisations who may be able to provide information related to the history of the Mid West.

Many of the City's heritage buildings have Conservation Plans written for them.  A list of plans is available for reference here. 

Areas of Interest

Fishers' Lost at Sea Memorial Project -  A small group of passionate volunteers who have formed the WA Fishers’ Lost at Sea Memorial Association with the intention of collecting, researching and documenting every last tragedy that has befallen the WA Commercial Fishing, Pearling and Whaling Industries.
