What you will need to bring
Identification
Please bring 2 forms of identification such as:
- Driver’s licence or learner’s permit
- Medicare Card
- Passport (not more than three years expired)
- Birth Certificate
- Citizenship Certificate Visa (using foreign passport)
- ImmiCard

Usernames and Passwords
- MyGov (Visit my.gov.au to create an account)
- Personal email
- Apple ID for iPhone users

Additional Information
We can help you link your Medicare Service to MyGov but you may be asked to provide the following to further verify your identity.
- BSB and Account number of the bank account you have your Medicare payments returned to
- Pensioner Concession Card

Apps you will need to install
Please install the following apps on your device
- Medicare Express Plus
- MyGovID
- ServiceWA
Note:

The myGovID app is compatible with most smart devices, and performs best when using:
- iOS 13 or later on Apple devices
- Android 10.0 or later. This excludes devices that use the Android Go operating systems, such as Android One.
Newer operating systems allow you to use the app's improved functionality and security enhancements. You can still use the myGovID app on devices running an older operating system, however, you may experience unexpected errors.
- MyGov and MyGovID are not the same thing. MyGov is accessed on an internet browser while MyGovID is an app used to verify your identity.

Setting the ServiceWA app on your own
You will need to have your Medicare linked to your myGov account and the following apps installed on your device to proceed.
