Dr. Howard Gray, a well-known local, has contributed ample research and publications - often relating to the natural and human history of prominent sites and events that took place in and around the Midwest. In his new book 'Abrolhos', he presents the history of the Abrolhos islands: a remote Australian archipelago, famous for its Batavia and Zeewijk Dutch shipwrecks. His talk will delve into both stories of the past and research on the current natural state of the islands and the surrounding coast. Come along to this marvellous presentation and join us for some light refreshments after.
